Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, Georgia. The clinician will provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

The role requires an MD/DO, psychiatry board certification or eligibility, an active license, and DEA registration, with credentialing and background checks completed. Weekday day shifts and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Must be able to obtain active DEA registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
• Support patient well-being through evidence-based psychiatric interventions.
