Job summary

The Provider Trainer delivers instructor-led training to providers to support understanding and compliance with APD standards and service expectations. Based in the Southeast Region, the position provides training regionally and statewide as needed and requires travel to support in-person training activities.

Responsibilities include preparing training sessions, coordinating events, and maintaining content accuracy while collaborating with the PTU Training Development team to improve delivery

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training methodologies and LMS platforms.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
• Familiarity with Florida statutes and APD policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate provider training across classroom, virtual, and on-the-job settings.
• Prepare virtual or in-person training environments and ensure materials are ready.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions and related travel.
• Maintain accurate content, update materials, and suggest improvements.
• Administer assessments and document learner performance.
