Job summary

Mindful Therapy Group is seeking a Provider Support Specialist to serve as first-tier support for provider members, delivering high-level customer service and handling the administrative tasks of independent practices.

You will collaborate with the Office Manager and Billing teams to resolve requests, maintain HIPAA compliance, manage messaging and scheduling, and support providers in growing their practice.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and a passion for helping providers.
• Proactive communication and problem solving.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI handling and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Office Manager to set goals and provide follow-through on tasks.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for clients using active listening.
• Process a high volume of emails and chats to coordinate care.
• Build rapport with providers and maintain professional relationships.
• Assist with scheduling, messaging, and intake procedures.
• Support with technology troubleshooting and patient portal questions.
• Maintain HIPAA guidelines and secure PHI at all times.
• Escalate issues to Office Manager as needed.
• Identify process improvements and communicate ideas to management.
• Maintain a tidy, professional office environment.
