Job summary

North Memorial Health, Robbinsdale, MN, seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to support daily departmental operations, review schedules for accuracy, assign staff, and resolve staffing issues across hospital and clinics.

You will maintain scheduling reports, communicate with AP/Physician teams and locums, coordinate provider assignments to sites, and optimize scheduling software for efficiency.

• Proficiency with Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook Excel Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task in a high pressure fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, monthly, annual staffing schedules of providers within assigned department(s).
• Resolve staffing gaps with leadership assistance.
• Maintain accurate assignments in schedule databases.
• Assist with calendar management of employed provider team as needed.
• Meet with providers, manager and site lead to discuss scheduling needs and issues.
• Coordinate orientation of new providers with Provider Services and leadership as needed.
• Establish relationships with employed, locum and independent contractors to build a team of reliable providers.
• Provide insights to continuous improvements of staffing and scheduling processes.
• Review and edit timecards as needed.
• Assist providers with CME provider requests and expense reports.
• Provide onboarding and scheduling support for learners and students.
