Elderwood in Buffalo, NY seeks a Provider Relations Specialist to manage relationships with providers, coordinate onboarding, credentialing and data maintenance, and support compliance across the network.

You will liaison with Elderwood IPA departments and contracted partners, document activities, track deadlines, and travel to provider sites as needed, ensuring timely network operations and HIPAA compliance.

Formación

• Minimum of an associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in managed care or medical administration.
• Knowledge of provider contracting and credentialing.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
• Experience with provider relations or claims research preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports provider recruitment and network development.
• Maintains positive relationships with providers in the network.
• Coordinates credentialing and recredentialing activities.
• Tracks and maintains provider documentation and compliance.
• Coordinates provider onboarding from request to activation.
• Manages provider inquiries and escalation workflows.
• Travels to providers' offices as needed.
• Coordinates contract routing and documentation.
