Job summary

Upper Peninsula Health Plan (UPHP) is seeking a Provider Relations Representative to serve as a provider-facing resource for practitioners, facilities, and provider offices within the UP network. You will educate, communicate, and engage with providers to strengthen relationships and improve access to care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree in business, office information services, health information processing, computer information systems, or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, business administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Follows UPHP policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
• Liaises between UPHP and provider offices to promote relationships and provide general support.
• Educates providers on UPHP resources, programs, tools, policies, and procedures.
• Supports onboarding, orientation, and distribution of provider communications.
• Coordinates provider engagement activities and site visits.
• Maintains documentation and supports compliance reporting related to network adequacy.
