Job summary

The Recruitment Specialist at MyMichigan Health will support the growth of our health system by coordinating the recruitment process for physicians and advanced practice providers. Under the department manager, you will identify, source, screen and deliver qualified candidates and manage locum tenens as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered within 30 days of hire.
• 3–5 years’ experience in customer services, healthcare, sales, marketing or recruitment background preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize a large volume of detail-oriented work while maintaining quality customer service.
• Strong marketing, organizational and presentation skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Extensive knowledge of technology including Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet.
• Must be able to work independently with various stakeholders to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the candidate and locum tenens process from screening to placement; forwards qualified candidates to leadership and recruiters; assists with interview coordination and updates in the departmental database.
• Facilitates job postings on social media, with recruitment firms, journals and direct mail advertising; assists with intake sessions with managers.
• Assists with building applicant pipelines by networking with colleges, residency programs, professional organizations and clinical programs.
• Coordinates travel arrangements, itineraries, site visits, interviews and community tours for candidates and their spouses/partners.
