This position is responsible for filling physician staffing needs across UMass Memorial Medical Group, member hospitals, and community practices. It involves sourcing qualified physicians nationally through networks, databases, and professional journals. The role includes establishing relationships with internal and external residency program heads to identify and recruit candidates.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with hiring physicians to develop recruitment plans. (20%)
2. Identify qualified physicians nationally using various networks and media. (30%)
3. Create advertising and marketing materials for recruitment. (5%)
4. Build relationships with residency program heads and deliver career development presentations. (10%)
5. Conduct prescreening calls, evaluate candidates, and recommend suitable ones. (10%)
6. Coordinate interview and travel arrangements for candidates, providing guidance and information. (10%)
7. Maintain candidate records and communicate regularly with stakeholders. (5%)

Additional responsibilities include supervising personnel, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulations. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a good record.
• 1-3 years of executive-level physician recruitment experience.
• Willingness to transport candidates as needed.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Excellent communication skills at all professional levels.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
