Sailor Health in New York City (Soho) is seeking a Provider Operations & Strategy Lead to build the operations and infrastructure that deliver an exceptional clinician experience. This in-office role requires collaboration with product, engineering, and clinical teams to scale provider operations.

The successful candidate will own provider outcomes, design scalable processes, and leverage AI-native systems to support growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience, with at least one of: prior ops or product role at a fast-growing startup; consulting or finance experience.
• Thrives in ambiguity — and structures it.
• Meticulously organized: strong to-do lists and time management.
• Direct, high-stakes communicator: clear hard messages to stakeholders.
• People management instinct: coach to gaps, not ownership.
• AI operator: build systems on Claude or ChatGPT to move faster.
• You take work personally: clinician/patient experience matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the provider across the company in rooms with product, engineering, and clinical.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the clinical team and scale support systems.
• Build and convert inbox-based processes into scalable infrastructure with AI support agents.
• Write and enforce operational policies covering payroll, holidays, no-shows, etc.
• Deliver hard conversations directly to providers about churn risk and expectations.
• Close the provider feedback loop by collecting NPS and driving onboarding fixes.
• Coach and manage the provider support team to improve ticket quality and speed.
