Job summary

Workplace Options partners with Behavioral Health Systems to recruit a Network Recruitment and Development Specialist in the United States. You will expand and maintain the PPO network, negotiate provider rates, and orient providers, reporting to the Vice President of Provider Relations.

The role emphasizes building relationships with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other providers; requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years in provider relations, with strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum three years provider relations experience.
• Experience in managed care/PPO environments preferred.
• Some involvement in mental health field preferred.
• Familiarity with rate negotiations and contractual terms.
• Excellent written and oral communication and organization skills.
• Willing to perform extensive telephone work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, expand and maintain PPO network, including provider identification and rate negotiation.
• Assist in conducting provider orientations.
• Serve as liaison with providers, clients and patients; resolve problems timely.
• Provide direct support to Clinical Division and assist with client contracts.
• Assist in preparation of proposals and support services related to contracts.
• Maintain policies and procedures; recommend revisions to PPO forms and rates.
• Participate in marketing and provider relations efforts and coordinate industry data.
• Attend meetings and advise VP on developments.
