Job summary

Workplace Options, in partnership with Behavioral Health Systems, is seeking a Network Recruitment and Development Specialist in the US. The role focuses on expanding and maintaining a PPO provider network, negotiating rates, and orienting providers.

You will report to the Vice President of Provider Relations and collaborate across clinical, accounting, and marketing divisions. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in provider relations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Three years provider relations experience, PPO/HMO or similar setting preferred.
• Experience in managed care/PPO environment is required.
• Experience in mental health field and public relations is preferred.
• Familiarity with case management/utilization review functions.
• Familiarity with computerized applications (PCs, Word, Access and the Internet).
• Experience in services to business, industry is preferable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, expand and maintain PPO network; include provider identification and rate negotiation.
• Assist in provider orientations including training sessions.
• Serve as liaison with treatment providers, clients and patients; resolve problems promptly.
• Support Clinical Division and other departments in client contracts and proposals.
• Maintain policies and propose revisions to PPO contract forms and rates.
• Participate in marketing and provider relations efforts; assist in special projects.
