Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks a Lead Provider Field Representative to guide a team serving California's Medi-Cal provider community. You will handle escalations, provider billing issues, and training development, acting as a liaison across providers, internal teams, and the client to ensure compliant service delivery.

You will support billing activities, outreach, and education while traveling throughout California and working remotely.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in BPO/consulting/healthcare ops or related fields.
• Experience supporting healthcare providers with billing and claims research.
• Experience as a functional lead, SME, mentor, trainer, or escalation point.
• Experience developing or delivering training to healthcare providers (virtual/in-person).
• Strong provider relations, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience improving business processes for providers or clients.
• Medi-Cal or Medicaid experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout California.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Provider Field Representatives and handle escalations and complex inquiries.
• Support provider billing activities, claims research, reimbursements, and billing issues.
• Lead provider education/outreach with workshops, events, and training.
• Act as liaison between providers, internal departments, and client to ensure service delivery.
• Apply policies, exercise judgment to resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to knowledge resources and document complex issue resolutions.
• Mentor and develop Provider Field Representatives and improve processes.
