Job summary

Children's Cardiology in Atlanta is seeking a Provider Enrollment Coordinator to manage the provider database across the organization. You will serve as the primary point of contact for providers and coordinate with hospitals and payer groups to ensure accurate enrollment and documentation.

The role requires detail-oriented, analytical individuals who can navigate payer processes, maintain records in Excel and CAQH systems, and support onboarding of new physicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 2 years of payor enrollment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with payer processes, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Must possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider database files in Excel, Medicred and CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc.).
• Track and maintain current copies of provider documents including expiration dates.
• Evaluate all documentation received and identify any concerns that require follow up action.
• Input data for practitioner files and status reports.
• Review payor website to ensure accuracy of provider data.
• Complete payor enrollment for onboarding/new physicians.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Job description

Children's Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Provider Enrollment Coordinator position manages the provider database within the organization. This position serves as the contact for providers and acts as a liaison between various hospitals and payer groups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 2 years of payor enrollment experience preferred.
• Familiarity of payer processes, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Must possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficient computer, typing and writing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
