The NYC Health Department is seeking a Provider Engagement Manager to bridge public health and healthcare in New York City. This role focuses on aligning engagement strategies, improving communications, and centering evidence-based health equity in provider relations.

Reporting into the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, you will design and pilot initiatives with multidisciplinary partners, develop KPIs, and publish papers showcasing the office’s work.

Formación

• Master’s degree in public health or a related field is required or strongly preferred.
• Doctorate in a relevant field with supervisory/leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience working with public health and healthcare stakeholders is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and implementation of a Provider Data Warehouse strategy to engage NYC healthcare providers.
• Research and enhance engagement with diverse health care providers across NYC.
• Define KPIs and evaluate communications success (open rates, click-through rates).
• Recommend and test communication strategies to raise provider engagement.
• Supervise staff including coordinators and managers.
• Understand provider populations across specialties and served groups.
• Evaluate data sources to identify emerging needs and priorities.
• Use findings to inform program development and collaboration with leadership.
• Review literature on innovative provider and community engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with the CMO Office to publish papers on the office’s scopes of work.
