Job summary

Alignment Health in El Paso, TX is seeking a Field Remote Provider Engagement Specialist to develop and maintain strong relationships with provider offices, improve network performance, and support organizational growth.

This role partners with providers to increase patient retention, drive quality metrics, and deliver education and tools for alignment initiatives. Requires two years in provider relations, BA/BS, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred; 80% travel; MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in provider relations / contracting with an HMO or IPA.
• Education/Licensure: BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish – preferred.
• Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with providers and staff to support growth, retention, and performance improvement.
• Partner with providers to improve performance on KPIs including growth, retention, AWVs, HEDIS gaps, hospital and ER utilization.
• Onboard providers and provide ongoing education on Alignment tools, programs, incentives, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in developing training materials/tools and provide provider in-service sessions.
• Serve as single point of contact for provider issues (UM, prior authorization, claims, encounters, eligibility, provider rosters).
• Represent Alignment Health at provider meetings, trainings, and community events.
• Maintain department databases and tracking tools to document activities and outcomes.
• Assist with credentialing and provider agreements; track recruitment activity.
