Job summary

The Healthcare Network seeks a Provider Relations professional to serve as the primary liaison with the provider community across multiple product lines and to deliver education on policies and initiatives. You will conduct on-site and telephonic communications with executives and managers, and lead orientations for new primary and specialty care physicians.

Role requires independent telecommuting capability, driving when needed, and occasional overnight travel to provider locations as part of

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Provider Relations and/or Managed Care Product Administration.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed above (preferred).
• 2 years’ Provider Relations experience or medical office or hospital experience (preferred).
• 2 years’ exposure to medical claims processing procedures (preferred).
• Knowledge of Managed Care dynamics including capitation and reimbursement structures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between The Healthcare Network and provider community across products.
• Build and maintain relationships with primary and specialty care physicians through education visits.
• Conduct on-site visits, telephonic conversations and written communications with executives, managers and physicians.
• Perform on-site provider orientations and county orientations on policies, billing and initiatives.
• Represent the Provider Consultant Department in workgroups and committees addressing provider concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Identify and solve problems independently, including telecommute context.
