Job summary

Inspire Health Medical Group in Fresno, CA is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to accurately process provider credentialing, enrollment and re-credentialing for facilities and health plans. This non-exempt role coordinates with internal teams and external payers to ensure timely onboarding and ongoing compliance.

You will support onboarding, maintain confidential records, and participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency in Physician Services operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of credentialing experience in a medical setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and support the credentialing application process by requesting, receiving and analyzing provider documents.
• Manage all phases of payer credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and changes including terminations.
• Communicate with internal departments and external payer entities to ensure timely onboarding.
• Keep provider credentialing information database updated and confidential.
