Job summary

Formel D is seeking Test Drivers who can travel and work on various short-term local CONTRACT jobs. You will drive and evaluate new and prototype motor vehicles on predefined routes under various conditions, and provide detailed written feedback regarding vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.

The role requires at least 3 years driving experience, a background check, and the ability to travel within the United States for extended assignments. Endurance runs are required prior to assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years professional driving experience; Defensive Driving Training and/or Driver Training preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; computer proficiency (MS Office, measurement systems).
• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Ability to work assigned schedules including multiple shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and evaluate vehicles on predefined routes under various conditions.
• Provide detailed written feedback on vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.
• Complete all vehicle pre-inspections prior to leaving the facility.
• Follow predetermined routes and duty cycles.
• Complete test procedures and provide thorough reports and documentation.
• Travel domestically within the U.S. as required.
• Must have completed at least one endurance run prior to assignment.
