Job summary

Formel D is seeking Test Drivers who can travel and work various short term CONTRACT jobs across the US. The Test Driver is responsible for driving and evaluating new and prototype motor vehicles on pre-defined routes under various conditions, and providing detailed written feedback regarding vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.

Essential duties include completing vehicle pre-inspections, writing clear reports, and following assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Defensive driving training preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow schedules including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Drive and evaluate vehicles on predefined routes under various conditions.
• Provide detailed written feedback on vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.
• Complete vehicle pre-inspections and reports.
• Travel across the U.S. for assignments as required.
• Maintain records and work with engineering staff on vehicle issues.
