Job summary

Intralox, located in Hanover, MD, is seeking a Testing and Validation Engineer to accelerate development of new conveyance technologies. You will design rapid tests, build prototypes, and collaborate with a highly autonomous team to uncover what works and what doesn’t.

The role emphasizes working with incomplete information, taking action quickly, and translating learnings into concrete engineering requirements for downstream teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product development, testing, validation, or R&D.
• Experience designing and executing experiments.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments to validate technical and commercial assumptions.
• Develop test plans, success criteria, and evaluation frameworks.
• Conduct customer interviews and field observations.
• Analyze prototype performance and testing results.
• Identify risks and opportunities early in development.
• Generate recommendations for continuation, pivot, or termination.
• Support development of business cases for promising concepts.
