Job summary

Intralox in the United States (Hanover, MD) is seeking a Test Engineer for our Activated Roller Belt equipment platform. You will lead on-site testing, analyze performance, and collaborate with mechanical, controls, and development teams to translate field observations into design improvements.

This role demands autonomy, strong problem solving, and programming fluency to work with controls engineers on real solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving across mechanical and controls perspectives.
• Comfort with hand tools and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and travel up to 20-80%.

Responsibilities

• Define success from the start by clarifying pilot system goals and outcomes.
• Design and lead test strategies from concept to release to validate performance.
• Build and execute robust test plans and translate results into insights.
• Turn data into design improvements and drive on-site optimizations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and development teams to influence design.
