Job summary

Eaton’s EPG CPD Circuit Protection Division is seeking a Master Technician - R&D to support the Advanced Technology team in Moon Township, PA. The role focuses on fabricating, building, and testing prototype samples for lab-based evaluation and customer pilots, ensuring high-quality builds under project engineers.

You will document issues, troubleshoot, and lead prototype assembly while coordinating lab infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical technology.
• Three years of product development experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical products.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration employment.
• No relocation offered; within 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA; active-duty military exempt.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and assembly with Engineering to properly build prototypes.
• Use hand/power tools to build engineering samples and test fixtures.
• Fabricate parts using approved machinery and methods.
• Prepare lab validation tests under project engineering direction.
• Collect, record, and plot test data clearly.
• Lead assignments and coordinate equipment installation for development labs.
