Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Master Technician - R&D for its Advanced Technology team in Moon Township, PA. You will assist engineers with fabrication, build and test prototype samples for lab-based evaluation testing and customer pilots, ensuring high-quality prototype builds.

You will document, troubleshoot, and communicate assembly issues, lead test activities, and support lab equipment maintenance while collaborating across project teams to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical technology from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience in a product development environment with mechanical or electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Understand mechanical drawings and assembly documentation to properly build prototypes.
• Fabricate parts using approved machinery and methods.
• Prepare lab validation tests and collect, plot data.
• Conduct onsite product validation tests using approved devices and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate purchasing and installation of new equipment for development labs.
• Maintain equipment through repairs or calibration.
