Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a close-knit prototyping team that builds capabilities enabling warfighters to harness sensors and data sources for mission success.

The role involves system design and implementation of proof-of-concept prototypes across software development, signal processing, AI, real-time computing, and visualization, with opportunities to work at military facilities and potential government

Formación

• BS or MS in CS/CE/Math/EE or related field as required.
• 2+ years in object-oriented programming, databases, signal processing, AI, data visualization, and UIs.
• Experience with C++ or Java in Linux/Unix environments; ability to work in a close team.

Responsabilidades

• Research and develop concepts for unaddressed military shortfalls on an established prototyping team.
• Design and implement proof-of-concept software across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support prototype evaluation and transitions to government or industry.
