ROUSH is seeking an Automotive Mechanic I to modify and repair cars and trucks in a prototype environment. You will diagnose, service, and maintain vehicles under mentorship, working on varied projects and customer interactions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of mechanic experience; tools in hand, attention to detail, ability to read procedures, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six months of relevant mechanic experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.
• Own tools with rolling toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by following repair orders and instructions.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operating by troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.
• Participate in daily shop organization and cleanup.
