Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Project Manager Engineer I to coordinate supplier‑driven technical projects, with a focus on prototype builds and procurement activities in data center and connectivity markets.

You will translate requirements into clear sourcing plans, prepare and track purchase requisitions and orders in SAP, monitor schedules and costs, and report progress to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with prototype development and supplier coordination.
• Experience with SAP purchasing or project transactions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple due dates and follow actions to closure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical projects involving suppliers, prototype materials, components, tooling, and related services.
• Plan, report, manage, and track prototype builds from requirements through supplier delivery and internal evaluation.
• Partner with engineering and technical experts to understand specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate supplier activities, obtain status updates, and drive closure of actions affecting prototype delivery.
