Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking motivated interns to support the Engineering & Technology group across prototype vehicle operations. You will assist in planning, project coordination, and reporting to ensure test-ready vehicles.

The role involves collaboration with procurement, warehousing, build, commissioning, and testing teams to maintain schedule alignment and data accuracy. Open to high performers, May/June start, with potential transition to full-time based on performance and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or recently graduated within 1 year.
• Majors in business administration, operations, or analytics are preferred.
• Familiar with Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and project tools.
• Demonstrates proactive communication and timeline management.
• Experience with data manipulation and synthesis is desired.
• Shows strong analytical thinking and visual storytelling.
• Understanding of cost accounting fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain visual plans communicating activities and progress.
• Coordinate across teams to maintain visibility and alignment on priorities.
• Translate operational data into clear insights for planning decisions.
• Support financial planning and budget management for department resources.
• Maintain an operational pulse on prototype manufacturing through planning and reporting.
