Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Chassis Dynamics team. You will gain hands‑on experience across the product development process, including creating and modifying 3D CAD models and drawings, supporting testing, and analyzing data while collaborating with design, manufacturing, and validation teams.

The role is hybrid in the US, with a May/June start and a potential transition to a full‑time position based on performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated with an engineering bachelor's degree (BSME/BSMET or related).
• Familiar with 2D/3D CAD tools such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, PTC Creo.
• Fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge: statics, dynamics, strength of materials.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Support vehicle and component testing and data analysis.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, supplier, and validation teams.
