Job summary

Haworth is seeking a Model Shop Intern for an on-site role in Holland, MI, for a 12-week summer program designed to provide hands-on learning in a dynamic workspace. You will join a cohort of interns, attend NeoCon, and gain exposure to real projects across manufacturing and design.

Qualifications

Part-time or full-time college enrollment with an associate degree completion by Fall 2027.
On-site work in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
Unrestricted right to work in the US.
Ability to bend and climb.
Lift up to 25 lbs alone, up to 100 lbs with accommodations.
Read blueprints, utilize geometry, and calculate tolerances.
Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Work on a range of shop projects using CNC, Brake Press, Lathe, Manual Mill and woodworking equipment.
Develop prototypes and custom parts, including one-off and small-batch manufacturing parts.
Produce showroom-quality deliverables and learn across the office and manufacturing processes.
