Job summary

Haworth is seeking paid Product Engineering interns to join our Holland, MI team for a 12-week on-site program at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters. You will work with the Product/Project Engineering Team in the Walls Plant, performing experiments, building prototypes, and analyzing data.

You will gain hands-on experience with Creo CAD, 3D printing, and machining while engaging in workshops and mentoring sessions, including opportunities around NeoCon.

Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering Technology with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• On-site work in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Responsibilities

• Support Product/Project Engineering on projects in Walls Plant, performing experiments with parts and materials and collecting data.
• Identify root causes of product design issues and develop potential solutions.
• Create or revise Creo CAD models and build prototypes; review test results.
