Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to streamline prototyping and development. You will collaborate with the mechanical and broader engineering teams to bring prototypes to life and maintain them for production use.

Your role includes managing BOMs, inventory, configurations, and supporting hardware development. You’ll drive efficient builds, run standups, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure rapid, unblocked progress through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Consistent and organized to ensure successful outcomes.
• Hands-on in filling gaps and leading by example.
• Ability to switch between organizing data and organizing people.

Responsibilities

• Pull disparate teams together to hit milestones and goals in product development.
• Manage BOMs for products to enable ordering, cost analysis, and tracking status.
• Push ECOs through controlled release processes.
• Create build spaces with workspace, tools, and inventory storage.
• Oversee prototype and integration builds, including receiving parts and QC.
