Critical Loop is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our Product Development team and support the build, integration, and testing of next-generation energy hardware. This hands-on role moves between the shop floor and the test environment, building prototype systems, wiring to drawings, setting up instrumentation, and collaborating with engineers to drive repeatable, high-quality builds.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in engineering technician or similar hands-on role.
• Experience building/testing precision electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs.
• On-site work in Long Beach/Torrance, ability to lift 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Build, wire, and assemble prototype electromechanical skids and cabinets from drawings.
• Perform HV/LV wire routing, harnessing, crimping, terminations, connectors, torqueing to spec.
• Set up and operate bench and HIL test equipment (inverters, load banks, DAQ, sensors).
• Execute development and validation testing and capture traceable data.
• Read electrical, mechanical drawings, GD&T, BOMs and work instructions.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot, coordinate with engineering for root causes.
• Verify and redline drawings and work instructions from tests.
• Document nonconformances and feedback to improve design and processes.
• Maintain lab tools and ensure calibration is current.
• Follow safety practices around HV/high-energy systems, including LOTO and PPE.
• Partner with Electrical & Controls Eng, Production, Test, Quality, Field Service.
