Job summary

Rajant Health Incorporated in Malvern, PA, is seeking an electronics technician with exceptional microsoldering and board-level repair skills to support rapid prototyping and testing of our miniaturized stacks.

You will work directly with the VP of Hardware and engineers to modify, repair, and validate designs, focusing on precision rework, testing, and documentation while maintaining strict ESD practices on our bench.

Qualifications

• Precision repair on miniature components and fine-pitch connectors.
• Experience with microscope, fine soldering tools, and hot-air equipment.
• Ability to follow engineering instructions and verify part numbers, values, orientation, and solder-bridge configurations.
• Strong documentation and testing discipline.
• Familiarity with IPC-7711/7721 rework and repair training or exposure (certification optional).

Responsibilities

• Connector and component rework on prototype PCB assemblies; repair pads and traces.
• Plan controlled heating to protect board and nearby parts.
• Verify part numbers, values, orientation, and solder-bridge configurations.
• Track modified boards, inspections, and tests for small-batch consistency.
• Perform inspections and tests: continuity, shorts, power rails, and functionality.
• Record changes and results, improve methods and fixtures, maintain an organized bench with ESD practices.
