Job summary

MER-MAR Electronics Inc. is seeking an SMT Touch-Up & Rework Technician to perform duties in the SMT assembly area, following established procedures and work instructions.

You will precision-solder PCBAs, interpret drawings and BOMs, maintain safety, detect equipment malfunctions, communicate with Senior Technician and QC, log entries, and ensure traceability of products. The role requires meticulous attention to process, adherence to safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Interpret drawings, bills of materials, manuals and other work instructions.
• Maintain safety with PPE.
• Ensure traceability of product.

Responsibilities

• Precision soldering on PCBAs.
• Interpret drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Wear PPE and maintain safe working conditions.
• Detects malfunctions of assembly equipment and communicates with Senior Technician and QC to resolve issues.
• Make entries into Travelers, Time Standards and Work Order Document Package.
• Maintain traceability of product.
