Qualifications

Associate degree in a related technical discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience fabricating and assembling production cables and cable harnesses.
Hands-on experience wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical systems using schematics.
Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level SECRET.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support for engineering activities involving the design, testing, troubleshooting, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and equipment.
Performs testing, checkout, installation, and troubleshooting using schematics, technical drawings, diagrams, layouts, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
Identifies equipment or system malfunctions and assists in determining appropriate corrective actions and repair methods.
Collects, organizes, maintains, and analyzes technical data to support engineering, production, and testing activities.
Supports the fabrication, assembly, wiring, and integration of electronic and electromechanical components, including production cable assemblies.
Prepares and maintains engineering and technical documentation, including reports, drawings, sketches, flowcharts, diagrams, schematics, and test documentation.
Performs routine assignments independently with limited supervision. Receives general direction for new tasks, complex work, or special assignments.
