Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience fabricating and assembling production cables and cable harnesses.
• Hands-on experience wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical systems using schematics.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level SECRET.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for engineering activities involving the design, testing, troubleshooting, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and equipment.
• Performs testing, checkout, installation, and troubleshooting using schematics, technical drawings, diagrams, layouts, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
• Identifies equipment or system malfunctions and assists in determining appropriate corrective actions and repair methods.
• Collects, organizes, maintains, and analyzes technical data to support engineering, production, and testing activities.
• Supports the fabrication, assembly, wiring, and integration of electronic and electromechanical components, including production cable assemblies.
• Prepares and maintains engineering and technical documentation, including reports, drawings, sketches, flowcharts, diagrams, schematics, and test documentation.
• Performs routine assignments independently with limited supervision. Receives general direction for new tasks, complex work, or special assignments.
