Job summary

Aerotek in Camas, WA is seeking an Assembly Technician for a 3–6 month contract. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, harnessing, soldering, and final testing in a fast-paced lab environment. Candidates with prior manufacturing assembly experience and familiarity with schematics will excel.

The role is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a $25.00–$30.00 hourly rate. Benefits may apply depending on eligibility and classification.

Qualifications

• Experience with point-to-point wiring and harnessing wires.
• Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with power screwdrivers and hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics or detailed work instructions.
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting.
• Fabrication experience (mills, lathes, drill presses).

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly per schematics.
• Prototype environment work on new product builds.
• Harness assembly, soldering, box assembly, button-up, and final testing.
• Work with harnesses and soldering per diagrams; some mechanical assembly.
