Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler in Vancouver, WA to prepare component kits and build wire assemblies for control panels and electrical systems. The role involves pulling parts from inventory, using automated crimping and stripping equipment, and delivering finished kits to workstations with high accuracy.

Responsibilities include reading part lists, verifying lengths and terminations, maintaining a clean workspace, following safety procedures, and assisting with basic mechanical and electrical

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly or kitting.
• Ability to operate automated wire stripping and crimping machines.
• Ability to read and follow part lists and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate kits.

Responsibilities

• Review part list sheets to identify required components and materials for each production order.
• Pull and kit groups of parts from inventory according to part list sheets and production requirements.
• Operate automated wire stripping and crimping machines to produce wire assemblies.
• Verify that wire assemblies meet specified lengths and quality standards.
• Organize and label finished kits by production order for traceability.
• Deliver completed kits to production workstations in a timely manner.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to the team.
