Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Repair Station Assembler to assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment. This hands-on position requires precise assembly work in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm; safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with precision assembly and basic soldering as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational schooling in lieu of diploma is acceptable.
• Demonstrates familiarity (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)
• Communicate information and ideas clearly, both written and verbal
• Understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral methods
• Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and notify appropriate people
• Provide responsive customer service
• Good near vision for detail work
• Ability to maintain focus over time

Responsibilities

• Assemble or modify electrical/electronic equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Perform repetitive duties in a single-piece flow cell.
• Follow methods and sequence of operations for component installation.
• Use hand tools and torque drivers.
• Setups and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
• May perform soldering and other basic assembly tasks.
• Possibly work in other cells to support assembly.
• Adhere to safety and compliance requirements.
