Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for an Assembler Electro-Mechanical and Electronic Components in Milwaukie, OR. You will assemble aerospace power-generation components, including generators, sensors, and motors, following detailed drawings and instructions.

The role uses hand and power tools, production machinery, and computers to document work. It is a day shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) on a contract-to-hire basis, onsite in Milwaukie. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in soldering and assembling electronic components.
• At least 1 year of production assembly experience.
• Ability to build circuit boards and windings for motors.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly of aerospace components (generators, sensors, motors).
• Follow written work instructions and diagrams for mechanical and electronic assembly.
• Build circuit boards and motor windings per procedures and quality standards.
• Assemble and solder electronic components and wires with proper connections.
• Use hand tools, air tools, power tools, soldering irons, and production machinery safely.
• Read and interpret drawings to identify components, wiring routes and steps.
• Access work instructions and drawings on computers for daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to facility standards.
