Job summary

Bausch+Ströbel in Branford, CT seeks an experienced machinist to set up, operate, and maintain ProtoTRAK lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts per drawings.

You must read prints, select speeds/feeds, perform setups, and use precision instruments to verify dimensions; the role includes safety and quality adherence.

Second shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with overtime; benefits include medical/dental plans, 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce precision parts on ProtoTRAK lathes/mills to engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret prints and production orders.
• Perform own setups and ERP data entry.
• Verify final dimensions with micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges.
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
• Follow safety rules, Quality Management System and company policies.
• Promote customer focus.
