Job summary

Bausch+Ströbel's US Headquarters in Branford, CT is seeking a skilled Machining Operator to set up, operate, and maintain ProtoTrak lathes to produce precision parts per drawings.

You will read prints, select speeds and tooling, perform own setups, and verify dimensions with precision instruments. This full-time, second-shift role offers $28–$33/hr plus a 15% differential and overtime at 1.5x; benefits include medical, dental, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of lathe experience required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain ProtoTRAK lathes to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret prints and specs; select speeds/feeds/tools.
• Perform own setups and verify final dimensions with measuring tools.
• Review production status, complete orders, and follow safety and quality rules.
• PUNCH job in ERP and maintain documentation; ensure tool changes are accurate.
• Maintain shop equipment and promote customer focus.
