Job summary

IBA Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Engineer in Estero, FL to install, operate and maintain our Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, support hardware/software testing, and contribute to upgrades and inspections that directly impact clinical operations and global performance.

Responsibilities

Document system symptoms, troubleshooting activities, root cause findings, and corrective actions to improve knowledge sharing and reduce downtime.
Build trusted relationships with clinical staff by serving as a dependable technical advisor and providing clear, responsive support during treatment days.
Operate, maintain, and optimize the Proton Therapy System across deployment phases including QA, testing, validation, and clinical operations.
Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, software, and integrated system issues.
Mentor new team members and subcontractors, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
Train customers on safe, effective operation of the Proton Therapy System.
