Job summary

Inotiv Nashville is seeking an Associate Director, Proteomics to shape the scientific direction for proteomic data in biomarker discovery and translational pharmacology across active programs.

You will lead targeted and global proteomics studies, guide assay development, and coach a team of scientists while engaging sponsors and internal stakeholders to advance drug discovery initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry with postdoctoral training.
• 5–7+ years of mass spectrometry proteomics experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with targeted and global proteomic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the proteomics program direction within DTS.
• Embed proteomic insight into biomarker discovery and translational decisions.
• Lead proteomics method development, including MS platforms and sample prep workflows.
• Mentor scientists and ensure GLP/GxP compliance for studies.
