Job summary

Inotiv in Nashville, Tennessee seeks an Associate Director of Proteomics to define the scientific direction of proteomics within the Discovery & Translational Sciences Division. Lead targeted and global proteomics studies, guide assay development, and translate proteomic insights into biomarker discovery and translational pharmacology decisions.

The role combines bench science with high-level sponsor interaction, strategic platform development, and team leadership to advance drug discovery

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry with postdoc training.
• 5–7+ years in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
• Hands-on experience with targeted/global proteomics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set scientific direction for proteomics program across translational pharmacology.
• Embed proteomic insights into biomarker discovery and decision-making.
• Lead design and validation of proteomic assays and workflows.
• Mentor scientists and ensure GLP/GxP compliance.
