Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking a senior translational biomarker leader to own cross-portfolio strategies across oncology and immunology programs. You will shape trial design, dosing decisions, and executive strategy from day one, driving biomarker integration at the portfolio level.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage biomarker assay development and governance, and influence regulatory submissions while mentoring junior scientists in a fast-growing biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or MD) with 12+ years in pharma/biotech and translational biomarker expertise.
• Proven track record leading biomarker strategy across a clinical portfolio with trial impact.
• Experience influencing trial design and regulatory submissions for oncology/immunology programs.
• Demonstrated people leadership with direct reporting and team scaling ability.
• Experience designing/authoring clinical study protocols, ICFs, lab manuals and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the clinical biomarker strategy across a multi-program portfolio.
• Interpret biomarker data to inform patient selection, dose selection, and go/no-go decisions.
• Direct build-out and governance of biomarker assays, platforms, and CRO oversight.
• Lead cross-functional teams spanning clinical development, research, regulatory, and external partners.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and participate in due diligence and BD discussions.
