Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Experience with protein purification techniques.
• Strong analytical and record-keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Run gel electrophoresis for DNA analysis.
• Prepare and maintain buffers, reagents, and other lab solutions.
• Prepare and sterilize culture media.
• Grow bacterial cultures for various experiments.
• Perform transformations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including electrophoresis chambers, centrifuges, sterilizers, and spectrophotometers.
• Follow SOPs and ensure safety regulations.
• Document all experimental procedures, results, and observations meticulously.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize purification processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Assist with ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies.
