Job summary

Integrated Proteins, LLC in Saint Joseph, Missouri, is seeking a diligent Quality Technician to join our on-site lab team. You will perform standardized tests, document results, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient laboratory environment while supporting production and quality leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized tests on the product
• Notify production and management immediately when product is out of specification
• Assist in managing retain program
• Create retain samples for inbound and outbound loads (for 6-month storage)
• Complete paperwork as directed using good documentation practices
• Monitor shared lab email inbox and respond promptly
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on lab equipment
• Notify Lead and Quality Manager when supplies are running low
• Provide information to production staff and management when requested
• Communicate any safety or quality concerns with plant management and corporate quality
• Keep lab neat and clean
• Other duties as assigned

Quality Technician

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Position Overview

• Lab Quality Technician
• Starting Pay $22/hour
• Hours 6 am - 2:30 pm

What You'll Do

• Perform standardized tests on the product
• Notify production and management immediately when product is out of specification
• Assist in managing retain program
• Create retain samples for all inbound and outbound loads (for 6-month storage)
• Complete paperwork as directed using good documentation practices
• Monitor shared lab email inbox and make sure all emails are responded to in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on lab equipment
• Notify Lead and Quality Manager when supplies are running low
• Provide information to production staff and management when requested
• Communicate any safety or quality concerns with plant management and corporate quality
• Keep lab neat and clean
• Other duties as assigned
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 1+ year laboratory experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, walk, reach, squat, push, pull, and climb stairs for extended periods of time
