Job summary

Vylor, an ag biotech company, is seeking a Research Scientist to join its Protein Core Facility Team. You will develop protein production methods, produce recombinant proteins, and lead collaborations with external partners.

The role requires a PhD in biochemistry or related field and 5+ years of hands-on protein experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance business goals, improve data management, and help build a world-class protein core facility.

Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry or related field.
• At least five years of hands-on experience in recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
• Strong ethics, initiative, goal orientation, and execution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiasm for hands-on protein work.
• Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop protein production methods and produce recombinant proteins.
• Provide scientific and technical leadership in project design and execution.
• Evaluate and implement emerging protein expression, purification, and analysis technologies.
