Job summary

Omaha Tribe seeks a Family Support Worker to deliver community-based family services under the Omaha Tribal Children and Family Services program. The role focuses on strengthening families, enhancing independent functioning, and culturally competent care.

Responsibilities include transportation, documentation, reporting to case managers, and participating in meetings or court hearings as needed. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in Human Service field (Social Work, Counseling, psychology, sociology, human development, mental health education or related).

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients/families and to attend to business as directed.
• Monitor and assist at family visits.
• Provide safety interventions for the family.
• Document all contact with clients and related persons.
• Provide written and oral reports to case managers as directed.
• Attend trainings as directed.
• Attend meetings and court hearings as part of working with families.
• Work weekends or evenings to provide services.
• Other duties as assigned.
