Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old but under 40.
• Must carry and use a firearm; proficiency is mandatory.
• Corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better.
• Must not exceed hearing loss limitations.
• Submit to a drug test before appointment.
• Complete 12 weeks of training at FLETC and 17 weeks at the James J. Rowley Training Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for The White House Complex and embassies.
• Travel for Presidential and foreign dignitary missions.
• Enforce protective responsibilities as mandated.
